Kombeke Association donates computers to Iombi schools

Also on 12 July 2026, the Kombeke Falls Association donated computers to support students' digital learning at Iombi — complementing the new Starlink connection with the devices students need to get online.
Lawyer and Kombeke Falls Association Secretary, Mr Solomon Tongela, spoke at the handover (see video below), highlighting the association's commitment to education and opportunity for the Iombi community.
The Kombeke Falls Association Inc. was formally launched in 2022 by the New Zealand High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea, and continues to partner on grassroots development in the Southern Highlands.
