Starlink switched on and email training delivered at Iombi
GPS360 LTD completes the Starlink installation at Iombi and runs the community's first hands-on email and computer training.
The Iombi community reached a major milestone this month as GPS360 LTD completed the Starlink satellite installation at Iombi Junior High School and Iombi Primary School — bringing fast, reliable internet to one of the most remote corners of the Southern Highlands.
The GPS360 team mounted the Starlink dish on the school roof, ran the cabling and configured the network on site, working alongside teachers and community members who gathered to watch the schools come online for the first time.
With connectivity in place, the team went on to deliver hands-on email and computer training for staff. Teachers and administrators set up their first email accounts and practised sending, receiving and managing messages — the everyday digital skills that will now keep Iombi connected to the wider world of education, partners and supporters.
